Spicy Citrus Marinade

Spicy Citrus Marinade

Brighten fish, shrimp, or chicken with our vibrant Spicy Citrus Marinade featuring vitamin-rich citrus and anti-inflammatory high phenolic olive oil. This zesty blend delivers immune-supporting compounds and heart-healthy benefits.

Our Spicy Citrus Marinade creates the perfect balance of heat and sweet with fresh citrus, honey, jalapeño, and premium high phenolic olive oil. The vitamin C from citrus fruits pairs with oleic acid and phenolic compounds in EVOO to support cardiovascular health and boost immune function while adding bright, complex flavors to your favorite proteins.

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup Aristoleo+ PowerShot high phenolic EVOO
  • Juice and zest of 1 orange
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin

Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and whisk until honey is fully dissolved.
  2. Pour over protein in a glass container or sealable bag.
  3. Marinate fish for 30 minutes, shrimp for 20 minutes, or chicken for 2-4 hours.

Perfect for: Fish, shrimp, or chicken

Health Benefits:

  • High Phenolic EVOO: Supports cardiovascular health through oleic acid and phenolic compounds
  • Citrus Juice & Zest: Rich in vitamin C, flavonoids, and limonene that support immune function
  • Honey: Contains antibacterial properties and antioxidants
  • Jalapeño: Provides capsaicin which may boost metabolism and reduce inflammation
  • Cumin: Offers iron and compounds that aid digestion

EVOO Intensity: For a milder flavor, use 1 ml of Aristoleo+ PowerShot for just the health benefits without overpowering the citrus notes.

Note: For all marinades, refrigerate during marinating time. Always use high phenolic EVOO for maximum health benefits. The Aristoleo+ PowerShot and MicroDosing products contain concentrated phenolic compounds that support overall wellness and anti-inflammatory benefits. Remember to always add a fresh drizzle of high phenolic EVOO after cooking to preserve the heat-sensitive beneficial compounds.

To your health!
